She was a good trusty site. I had to hand code her, but she never failed me.

In fact, she was one of the first personal Realtor websites out there, when there was no Facebook, no MySpace, No Tribe, and certainly No Linked In. But unlike our beloved vintage homes, her vintage feel wasn’t charming. It was down right tiresome.

Those picks-of-the week (the first in the industry, btw)  that we all drooled over required a barrage of brackets, back and forward slashes, nbsp’s, and far too many copy/pastes for any girl’s social life.  Yes, they were a labor of love, but seriously, there’s got to be an easier way!!

I’ll admit, I was remiss in updating the good ole girl. I found Facebook to be so much easier, and from the response I got, so did you.

But I was at odds – leave ‘old faithful’ for some trendy blog? Could I even design a blog? Definitely not!!  Then comes along Ryan ryan_round_avatar_3601-e1376578926591Ott.  A good friend, maybe too good really. He took great pity on me and showed the patience of Job. And what a job it was!

As a free lancer, he took my vision and made it into a viable, modern website that harnessed all the technology of today. Most of which I knew nothing about. (I highly recommend him for your site, of any style).  I never knew a simple Word Press blog could be so in-depth, and I could not have navigated the waters without him. You can find him at ryanott.net.

So welcome the new little lady in to your home, she’s so hip she’s mobile friendly. Take her with you anywhere!

Thanks friends,

Alyssa
